Suzanne Kijewski has served as an integral team member on the programming committee in Tampa since October 2015. She recently relocated to Tampa after having earned her PhD in microbiology and immunology at Boston University School of Medicine. Suzanne is eager to assist with various important tasks related to planning our programs. Her willingness to help and her consistent, clear communication style are qualities that make her an exceptional volunteer. Suzanne had previously been the assistant vice president of intellectual properties and licensing position at Transgenex Nanobiotech and most recently has taken a new position of medical research and intellectual properties coordinator at Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Suzanne has quickly made herself indispensable to the programming initiative in Tampa. Suzanne Kijewski has been a fantastic volunteer and has taken the initiative on partnering with a member of the board on ideas for creating a Women in Science (WIS) program for HBA Florida. She has also taken on the responsibility of being our new community ambassador to engage our FL members.
Suzanne is a wonderful asset to our chapter and we look forward to her continued leadership.
