HBA Houston Proudly Recognizes Amy Whitfield and Julie Cook as Honored Volunteers

HBA Houston Honored Volunteer award for May 2019 was recently presented to Amy Whitfield and Julie Cook. Amy and Julie were both nominated for their commitment and many contributions as volunteers for HBA Houston. Most recently, they were inspired to create an opportunity for our members to network, learn more the HBA and give back to the Houston community. Amy and Julie came up with the idea to host an event, which also incorporated networking while volunteering at Project C.U.R.E. We were not surprised by their idea because Amy and Julie are always finding ways to give back. The evening was a huge success thanks to their enthusiasm and initiative.

Thank you, Amy and Julie, for your dedication to inspire and further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare. HBA Houston would not be possible without the contributions of volunteers like Amy and Julie. They are both extraordinary volunteers that have played a significant role in building the HBA presence in Houston. We are lucky to have them as part of the team.
