HBA RTP chapter president
Wendy McMillan serves as president of HBA RTP. She brings over 15+ years in the behavioral healthcare industry, specifically in the field of employee assistance, substance abuse and work-life balance globally. With a strong passion to reach employees on a broad level, she now focuses her attention on strategic account management services providing value-based health insurance coverage to the middle market sector at Marsh & McLennan Agency. In her current role, she assists employer groups to navigate the healthcare benefits landscape, provides legislative and compliance updates, drives carrier negotiations and oversees technology implementation during enrollments with her clients. She holds insurance producer licenses in NC and CA.
Wendy has two daughters, fosters dogs through a local rescue group and is an avid tennis player.
HBA RTP chapter VP
Griha is currently a director of regulatory strategy at Pfizer Inc. She has been w/Pfizer for 12 years. Before that she was at Sandoz for 10 years, where she had various roles in quality and regulatory. Through her 22 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, she has been a proponent of the importance of mentoring, serving as both a mentor and a mentee. She currently serves on the board for the HBA as the VP for HBA RTP. Griha lives in Raleigh with her husband and daughter.
Cyndi is currently a patient safety project manager at Covance by Labcorp for drug development in Research Triangle Park. She provides oversight for ongoing trials to ensure patient safety, data quality and delivery for clinical trials. She was previously at Quintiles, Inc. (now IQVIA) in the same capacity. In the 26 years within the CRO industry, Cyndi has held many roles within drug safety, including management of independent safety committees, development of a safety project start-up program and managing employees. She has been a participant and a steering committee member for corporate women’s groups within her companies. Cyndi also volunteers with Dress for Success to maintain her retail skills. She is the director of operations for HBA Research Triangle Park and an HBA member since 2014.

Jason Mitchell is the senior director of leadership and marketing development for the US commercial organization at Gilead Sciences. Jason has more than 20 years of commercial experience leading and building sales and marketing teams. Prior to his current role he helped start a commercial organization in the CNS space as the eastern VP of sales and head of training, building and leading a 135-person sales force, launching three products. Jason also worked 13 years at Salix Pharmaceuticals with roles of increasing responsibility including positions as the West and South area sales director, regional sales director of the Mid-Atlantic, associate director of training, product management for three marketing brands, human resources and was also a sales professional covering the NYC market. Jason is a strong advocate in his current organization as an active member of multiple ERG’s and sits on a monthly listening panel to support and highlight current topics that continue to impact our black and African American community. Jason also sits on the board of HBA RTP helping support and further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare.

Katie Collins is the director of Good Neighbor Pharmacy at AmerisourceBergen. Prior to this role, Katie spent time in multiple learning and development roles where she was able to utilize her passion for self-development and learning to aid in the development and education of others. Most of her early career was in sales, with successful roles in pharmaceutical, device and durable medical equipment sales.
In her free time, Katie can be found enjoying a book or podcast, hiking with friends, or cooking up an exciting new recipe in the kitchen. She enjoys traveling, trying new things and meeting new people. Katie is an advocate for gender equality and volunteers on the board of HBA RTP.
