It has been my honor and privilege serving as the President of HBA San Francisco and, most recently, as the HBA Pacific Region Chair working alongside such amazing, talented, and dedicated professionals. As my career moves me back to the East coast, I am excited to announce Stacie Coates as the incoming HBA Pacific Region Chair effective immediately.
Stacie’s pharmaceutical and life science career spans greater than 20 years with experience in sales, marketing and clinical trial management for Wallace laboratories and Schering Plough Oncology Biotech with areas of focus ranging from pulmonology, neurology and epilepsy, oncology and hematology. In addition to direct experience inside the pharmaceutical companies, Stacie has extensive experience in running and managing life science service agencies. Stacie has a degree in business marketing from the University of Arizona and received a certificate from UC Berkeley Walter A. Haas School of Business in pharmaceutical biotech business.
Stacie has a passion for volunteering and giving back and has been a leader with the HBA for more than a decade from leading teams with HBA San Francisco as the Director of Corporate Relations, the Director of the Advisory Board, to serving at the HBA Pacific Region level as the Director of Corporate Engagement and President of Corporate Relations.
Stacie believes in the power of connection which the HBA does; making a connection with individuals and growing those connections to build stronger leadership in the healthcare space, connecting friends and colleagues together to help each of them achieve and build a stronger more successful workforce, connecting women (and men) who want and need networking, mentoring, skill-building, leadership opportunities to the HBA and its phenomenal suite of offerings.
As Regional Chair for the HBA Pacific Region Stacie will bring her energy, enthusiasm and experience working with other HBA leaders, members, and corporate partners at the chapter, regional and national level. Stacie’s leadership will help the HBA Pacific Region and the HBA continue to serve and fulfill its purpose of furthering the impact and advancement of women in the business of healthcare, and achieve its mission of gender parity, facilitating connections and helping members and corporate partners realize the full potential of their female talent.
“I am honored to be working side by side with such an amazing group of dedicated leaders and excited for this new role to continue to serve our members and corporate partners”
Please join me in welcoming Stacie to this new role.
