Nancy Hill Named HBA Seattle President

Nancy Hill is a Senior Executive with a track record of building and growing innovation-driven health care companies. Her broad-based experience spans IVD diagnostics, medical device and biopharmaceutical companies – with executive-level leadership roles in cross-functional product development and commercialization, sales and marketing, strategic planning and operational management for U.S. and global businesses. Most recently she was EVP, Operations and Program Management and a core member of the Adaptive Biotechnologies executive team that built the company from early-stage through IPO to a multi-billion dollar market cap. Her leadership contributed to the successful sale/transition of two additional companies including roles of increasing responsibility at Spiration/Olympus, Berlex, Immunex and Amgen. Nancy has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in business administration from the University of Washington. Outside work, Nancy has a passion for photography, world travel (when we can do that again) and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and three boys.

What the HBA means/why volunteering and what the HBA should expect from my contributions:

As soon as I became involved with the HBA as a mentor and a corporate advisory board member, I knew the organization was special. Joining the dedicated volunteers and leaders who are united in an effort to advance gender parity has been both energizing and empowering. I have valued the network and friendships as well as the meaningful work. HBA Seattle has accomplished amazing things, with many thanks to Erin Lavelle and Jennifer Griffith for their leadership over the past two years. It is truly an honor to follow in their footsteps with Nadia Dac, continuing the tremendous progress and growth from member and corporate partner engagement to mentorship. I look forward to working with the team to foster the innovative and supportive spirit of HBA Seattle to make the HBA’s vision a reality. And, to have fun along the way.

“I am grateful to the HBA Seattle volunteers for their energy and enthusiasm. Working together, they have been the foundation for the success of the chapter and our members. We look forward to the next phase of growth for the chapter under the leadership of Nancy and Nadia.” –Erin Lavelle
